Juicing for weight loss
When it comes to losing weight there are some standard things you can do that nearly always help. Drinking lots of water, reducing calories, increasing exercise, more fruits and vegetables, less processed junk and fast food. Everyone knows this stuff but there are a few other things that not everyone knows about that can also help.
Consuming the juice from wheat grass is definitely one of them. Drinking wheat grass juice gives you a high dose of live chlorophyll which has tons of great health benefits including an ability to regenerate blood, keep the liver purified, aid in blood sugar issues, help with all kinds of infections, inflammations and wounds and even help prevent dental problems and graying hair.
To get these benefits you’ll need a special juicer. A special wheat grass juicer has a slower speed than other juicers because juice from the blades of wheat grass must be pressed out slowly so its enzymes are not destroyed in the juicing process.
Another great way to lose weight and detox your body is to try juice fasting. You can do this with wheat grass juice alone but you’re certain to get tired of the stuff. To juice other fresh fruit and vegetables you’ll need a juicer machine. These things are fantastic. When I first got mine I had so much fun juicing different things and trying them out that I lost a few inches off my waist and I wasn’t even trying to.
Once you get a juicer machine it’s time to take it home and start juicing. With most juicers you’ll get a recipe booklet to help you get started. Make sure all fruits and vegetable are washed prior to juicing for the best tasting juice. You also want to learn about skins, rind and seeds. Make sure citrus such as grapefruits and oranges are peeled prior to juicing for they can give off a bitter taste.
