Benefits Of Power Racks
Many trainees never use a power rack when training at home and this is a shame as their work outs would be so much more productive if they invested in this invaluable piece of training equipment.
There are now a number of cheap power racks available and they are definitely worth their weight in gold. We will find that they can allow us to train a lot more intensely and a lot more safely as well.
We may have a few cheap weight sets that we use often but for performing routines like the bench press we often have to leave a bit of a reserve of energy to push the bar back up on the usual stand that we have. This means that we can not train to failure and means that we are not getting all that we could from the exercise.
With a power rack we can simply lower the weight and drop it on to the pins of the rack. It means we can train to total failure and this ensures that we grow quicker and get a lot stronger in the shortest possible period of time.
With many other exercises it is also of great advantage as it means we can train in a much safer way and really push ourselves hard to grow as quickly as we possibly can. Imagine the difference with a set of shrugs. We need huge weights to grow from this exercise. We can set the bar low on the power rack and load it up with plates and then perform a very heavy set. When finished it will only be s slight bending of the knees to drop it back on the rack and then have a rest.
This applies to so many exercises that it really is the best possible piece of equipment that we could buy if we are serious about our training regime.
